「穢れのない靴」

家庭用合成洗剤 メディウム 2004

 

洗剤をハイヒールで立体化し、彫り込んでほぼ実物大の（24.5cm）ハイヒールを制作。
台座に設置し、シンデレラのハイヒールのように見せ、主婦が日常的に家事の際に使用する洗剤で出来ているようなアイロニーを示唆するように、
台座の周りに洗剤を敷き詰め、匂いを立ちこませた。

シンデレラの物語は結婚式で話が終わる。
あたかも結婚が人生最大の目標であるように。
しかし人生はこれで終わらない。結婚後の日常は続いて行くのだ。


I made the full-size (24.5cm) high-heels from detergent, set it on the pedestal and showed it like the glass shoes of Cinderella. 
After that, I spread the detergent around the pedestal and filled the space with its smell.
I expressed the irony of the modern women who married happily and became
good wives by making it from the detergent that the housewives daily use when they wash.

Cinderella's story is end when she married a rich and handsome prince,
just as if the marriage were the most valuable purpose and goal of life.
However, our daily life doesn't end when we marry. 
It continues after the happiest moment.
